I've been working on a Jane Stickle quilt for a very long time. In actual hours, not that long but seems that something comes along & detours me. So, I finally finished piecing her & now I am in the process of hand quilting her.
My picture taking is quite bad. The quilt is much
more bright than this!
Wow! I just looked through you blog and I'm impressed by both your Dear Jane quilt and your Sunbonnet Sue. What a lucky girl to get a quilt from grandma that is completely done by hand. That's a tremendous amount of work!
ReplyDeleteI just found you....ummmm....oh yeah I saw your comment over at Ronda's blog (Slow Poke Quilter) and immediately zoomed into the fact that you hand piece/quilt & do needle turn (me too)!! I LOVE your DJ (mine has been hiding in the closet...needs quilting yet). The Sunbonnet Sue is ADORABLE!!
ReplyDeleteI'm adding you to my Reader, so you will be seeing me around :0)

Your DJ is stunning! I love the way you quilted it. I am working on my own DJ right now and seeing how you quilted yours has been very helpful to me :)
